1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CaptionLab (accessible via web application, API, or self-hosted container), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using CaptionLab on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Content Ownership & Rights
You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to any audio, video, images, fonts, and text you input into CaptionLab. We grant you a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, publish, broadcast, and commercially monetize any rendered videos or SRT subtitle files created with CaptionLab without attribution requirements.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use CaptionLab to process, generate, or distribute:
- Content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
- Defamatory, obscene, harassing, or unlawfully discriminatory material.
- Automated denial-of-service attacks, reverse-engineering attempts, or circumvention of rate limits.
4. Service Availability & Warranty Disclaimer
CaptionLab is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 99.99% operational uptime and sub-10ms acoustic speech alignment precision, we do not warrant that speech-to-text transcription will be 100% error-free across all audio qualities, background noises, or specialized dialects.
